Septas We put forth Septa material, a clear neutral semi-translucent, 45-50
durometer silicone rubber. It is exclusively designed for very low
bleed. .090 thickness of clear neutral semi-translucent silicone rubber
adheres to a .010 neutral Teflon backing, thus, making it highly
effective. The bond created to the teflon with the use of custom
formulated rubber prevents teflon from breaking loose on injection.
Thus, minimizing the chances of sample contamination. This product is
also known for ease of injection and longer injection life.
